Everyone relax. Kanye West is here to save the world.
In a bizarre (even by his standards) three-hour Twitter rant, the controversial rapper, producer, and designer claimed he was out to pick up the baton from late Apple founder Steve Jobs - and that was the least outlandish thing he spouted off about.
Discussing his plans for Donda - his newly-formed design and production company named for his late mother - the 34-year-old claimed the company will "pick up where Steve Jobs left off,"?and that he and his team will "make products and experiences that people want and can afford, to help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see hear, touch, taste and feel," and "dream of, create, advertise and produce products driven equally by emotional want and utilitarian need..To marry our wants and needs."
Oh, but he's not stopping there.
West's plans for Donda include film production - he hints at a Donda-produced "semi sci-fi" movie to be called "2016 Olympics" - as well as a possible adaptation of the "Jetsons"?animated TV?show as well as West's desire to "design"?the next MTV Video Music Awards.
After he's done with all that, the multi-hyphenated publicity magnet will fix America's educational system and - why not? - the economy, too.
"There are so many broken systems from the economy to school systems jail systems... we need experts for this," West wrote, before adding that he "want[s] to do a summer school that tries new forms of curriculum,"?with help from "Where the Wild Things Are" director Spike Jonze.
"I care about people who have never heard of me," West concluded. "There are over 7 billion people on the planet now."
