Iran says new nuke talk session in few weeks

GENEVA (AP) — Iran's foreign minister says his country plans a new meeting with six world powers in a few weeks to further discuss ways to ease fears his country may want nuclear arms.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says the meeting will be held in Geneva, the same venue that is hosting ongoing talks.

Zarif's comments Wednesday on his Facebook page were the latest indication of progress at the present talks after 10 years of near-deadlock.

Iran says it does not want the bomb. On Tuesday, it presented a plan to the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany that it says could be a breakthrough in ending the confrontation over its nuclear program.
